Whether you want to work freelance, or you’re looking for a full-time job – we might have the perfect arrangement to suit you. Some preference will be given to people located in the Los Angeles area, but that’s not a requirement for most positions. The most important thing is that you care about our clients and can do a great job.
WARNING: This is not a stuffy office job. It’s also not a job where you’ll always have clear directions. Book Launchers is only a little over a year old. We still are working out some kinks in our process so if you aren’t ok thinking on your feet, jumping in when you see a potential problem, and laughing through the challenges (because guaranteed things will go wrong!), this isn’t going to be a comfortable place for you to work – whether you’re a virtual freelancer or a full-time employee in the office.
That said, if you’re looking for a fun challenge, want flexibility with when and where you work, and you’re really good at what you do, Book Launchers just might be a cool place for you to work, grow and build a career.

What’s In It For You? Well … it does depend a bit on the role, but in general:
You can work from where you live … but we will give a slight preference to people located in the Los Angeles area of California. Our office is currently based in the fun and lively area of Playa Vista.
Type of Employment
We want to work with the best people possible. Most of our roles start as a freelance position but we will bring folks on as employees when it makes sense for everyone involved. If we’ve indicated we want freelance, but you really want full-time work, let us know and we can work towards that. Corporate profitability is a priority for us, but a big part of making the company successful is finding and keeping the best talent. If you’re the best person for the job and a great fit for the team, we want to make it work.
Salary & Benefits – for Employees
The salary will vary based on the role and your experience. Every full-time employee can expect the following benefits:
Salary + Profit Sharing + Profits to a Cause starting in 2019.
Starting in 2019, 20% of the net profits will be allocated to profit sharing every quarter and divided among the team who was a part of the previous quarter’s success. 5% of all net profits will be set aside for giving to a cause – to be selected by a vote as a team.
If you’re not healthy, you’re not going to be able to perform at your highest level. It’s not required that you be a fitness freak, but we love people who take their health seriously. Fulfilling work is only one part of what makes life great. Eating well, spending quality time with the people you love, and staying active are all important to a healthy and balanced lifestyle. To reflect this, all full-time employees will have access to company benefits including premium level health and dental coverage as well as the opportunity to have your monthly gym, Yoga, CrossFit or other fitness membership covered (up to $200).
You’ll also start with two weeks paid vacation and the option to take two more weeks unpaid … plus we’ll always shut the office down for the week between Christmas and New Years. Part-time and full-time employees get that paid time off.

Our Los Angeles based office is in a very fun, vibrant and flexible space. But, most of the team chooses to avoid commuting and works from home. The only thing that matters to us is that our clients are receiving the absolute best care and you are getting your job done.
You know how you work best, and we’ll look to you to tell us what will work for you. As long as you are putting in some hours during the regular business day, we know when we can reach you and connect as a team, and our clients are happy, then you have the freedom to control your schedule.
This doesn’t mean you won’t have to work hard – there is a lot of work to be done every day and the pace will sometimes be pretty intense to meet our client’s needs.
As long as the clients are happy, your team can reach you when needed, and your work is getting done, we are flexible with where and when the work gets done.
